The Bartlett Silver Hawks were established as a travel baseball organization with a single team in 1999. In 2004, fast-pitch softball was added, giving the Silver Hawks a full complement of team offerings in baseball and softball ranging from entry level through young adult ages.
The purpose of the Silver Hawk organization is to develop skilled, competitive baseball and softball players, build positive character within their players and teams, and to serve the community.
In addition to adopting a section of Stearns Road in Bartlett for which they perform cleanup activities twice a year, the Silver Hawks have also established a proud tradition and partnership with the Central DuPage Hospital Pediatric Oncology Department. Each year, the players donate toys for the Pediatric Oncology Department's Christmas party and assist the patients at the hospital's party. The Silver Hawks also use this party to collect hundreds of food items which are distributed to local food pantries.
BSH not only stands for Bartlett Silver Hawks - it also represents Baseball, Softball, and Hope. Baseball and Softball may be the public face of our organization, but Hope is the heart and soul of our players and coaches. While they hope and aspire to excel on the playing fields, hope is also what they give in return to their community. The Bartlett/Wayne community is served proudly by the achievements and character of these young Silver Hawk athletes and the adults that support them.
