12U Bartlett Silver Hawks Win WSBL Season Tourney
 
The Silver Hawks captured the Western Suburban Baseball League 12u championship Tuesday night (07/01)
in grand fashion.  They opened the tourney beating the Wheaton Briarcliffe Blazers 10-6 in the first round on 6/17. In the next round they upset the previously undefeated Oakbrook Outlaws 6-5 in a tight game on 6/25. In the semi's, the team beat the Bolingbrook Rampage-Navy in comeback fashion to advance to the finals.  Then in the championship game, in Glen Ellyn, the Silver Hawks beat the Bolingbrook Rampage-Gold with a final score of 10-6 to secure the WSBL crown.  The Silver Hawks upset all four higher seeded teams with great defense, hitting & pitching and key contributions from all 11 players.  Now its off to Cooperstown for these 12u champions...
The Bartlett U-12 Silver Hawks Take 1st Place at Waukegan!
 
The Bartlett SilverHawks went 5-0 over Mothers Day weekend at the Game Day USA - Great America May Madness Tournament to bring home first place!  The Team played three games Saturday starting with the Prairie Ridge Jr. Wolves beating them 5-1, second game was against the Lake Zurich Cougars with a winning score of 16-4 and the last game against Rhino Baseball Academy from Wisconsin with a winning score of 10-2. 
 
Sunday brought the semi's against Rhino Baseball again, this time it was a come-from-behind win of 9-8.  The finals were against the #1 seeded Lou Collier All-Stars from Chicago.  The #2 seeded Silver Hawks upset the #1 seed 13-6 for the Championship.  The team brought great pitching, fielding and hitting to bring home some Mothers Day hardware!
